Interlinked
2019-2022, variable dynamic brand

A dynamic logo meant to be that of three linked infinity loops, interlinked and unbreakable like a chain. A slight overlap of the rings and a 3D effect given by the apparent shadows.

The concept came about after implementing quite a few typefaces meant for customization with variable dynamics, it quickly became necessary to apply the same fundamental ideas to brands and logos but with an emphasis on their size and scale.


The scale being important in legibility of most brands - the thickness of the links in the logo were made so that it would be easily recognizable, and, at the same size, distinguished at any scale point without it being too invasive on the sense of balance between these two criteria.


Down to its core, the logo is a single glyph in a font file with a variable vector on its weight. As shown in the pictures, a large logo in size, where the logo wouldn't be the main focus, a small weight can be used; for readability, at a small logo size, a large weight is preferred.

Finding a suitable way to mock-up the concept was a bit tricky since real photography would of required expensive tele-photo lenses in order to capture the models at a near to orthographic focal-length, so instead, three digital models were "hired" to pose.
